Admire eagles, falcons, owls and barn owls up close and follow their flight tests in a great falconry show. On Easter Sunday, at the Tabiano Castle, an expert Master Falconer will guide guests to discover the secrets of falconry, an ancient and noble art, practised by kings and emperors and still practised in some parts of the world. The falconry shows will be at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., and before and afterwards it is possible to take part in guided tours of the castle.

"We decided to organise this show to retrace a tradition of great importance to the castle," explains Giacomo Corazza Martini, owner of the castle and author of several volumes on the history of Tabiano. "In fact, hunting with falcons was the favourite activity of Emperor Frederick II of Swabia, allied with Marquis Uberto Pallavicino the Great, lord of Tabiano in the 13th century.

On Easter Day, guided tours will start at 10.00 - 11.00 - 12.00 - 15.00 - 16.00 - 17.00 and 18.00 for a duration of about one hour with a route through the rooms decorated with frescoes, mirrors, coats of arms, the large vaulted cellars, the park of centuries-old trees, the panoramic terraces, the grand staircase and the ancient library.
